I think financial education is also key. A lot of people don’t understand how mortgages, loans, or rent agreements work. Schools should teach financial literacy so young people can make informed housing decisions.

The main reason is obvious—economic insecurity. Wages here are too low, while rent and living costs keep rising. Even skilled professionals struggle to make a decent living. Why stay in Serbia, Bosnia, or Albania when Germany or Austria offers three times the salary for the same job?
